Can you imagine waking up and not being able to see everything you last saw before you went to sleep? That’s what happened to me. Each time I had a transplant surgery, I remember looking up at the ceiling gazing into space thinking of all the things I would do in case I never got the opportunity to see again. You may not have lost your vision before, but I am sure you have faced a challenge that made you rethink your approach to life. I'm Paulette, a multi-hyphenate mompreneur with a passion for uplifting individuals to take action and live life NOW! I can’t wait to connect. I always say if you give me a microphone, you won’t regret it.

My love for speaking started early, in fact my neighborhood nickname was “chatterbox” affectionately coined by the maintenance man at our North Minneapolis childhood home. I grew up knowing that I had a voice, but it wasn’t until later that I was able to release fear, doubt, and imposter syndrome to start using my voice to transform and inspire the masses. As a master storyteller, I am able to pull from personal life experiences and translate it to audiences who want to see success in their lives.

I was working in retail my senior year of college and one of my colleagues asked me what I planned to do after graduation. I had no idea, so I just told her that God would make a way. Did he ever! I landed a job in University Admissions that sparked a joy for helping students that continues to ignite. Since then, I have worked my way up the ranks in Higher Education, helping students succeed outside the classroom for over a decade. I serve as the Director of Student Life at a community college helping individuals realize their potential and find success outside the classroom to pair with their academic success. We all need someone cheering us along as we make our way through this journey called life. If you are ready to have another success guide on your path you have come to the right place. I am ready to put in the work right alongside you.

Of all the things I have experienced on my journey, motherhood has been the toughest job and the best gift all in one. My two children Harper and Hunter remind me to have fun and dream big. My struggle with postpartum depression after children was one of the toughest obstacles to overcome but we all have to dig deep within and find a reason to strive for excellence. You owe it to yourself to find what your reason is and similarly, find your why. My why, led Harper and I on our author journey and we have published several books together since 2020. We love making an impact through literature. I love my family and they keep me happily grounded. I truly enjoy being an author, philanthropist, mentor to BIPOC girls and inspiration to people around the world ready to live out loud. I cannot wait to connect and show you how you can become the best version of yourself!

When was the last time you made an IMPACT? You know, the kind of thing that changes lives and plants the seeds for future generations. Harper and Hunter LLC (affectionately named after my two children) is a for purpose, on purpose business. Our business is centered around our social responsibility to give back to the community we occupy and the world we live in. Every year, our goal changes but our purpose remains the same: to impact as many organizations and give back as much as we can. We have partnered, donated and fundraised for Second Harvest Heartland; a Feeding America affiliate, Partnership for a Healthier America, Wounded Warriors Family Support, Children’s Minnesota, and more!
